Vidabreve is originally a duo formed by composer and guitarist Marc Beunon and cellist Caroline Adamczewski, two artists who released their first track "Erinis" on youtube in 2014, with a mysterious Spanish-tinged atmosphere. Two other duet tracks follow, "Soledad" and "Trèfle", gradually revealing a world of folk rock and world music.
The duo from Cergy-Pontoise is quickly joined by the drummer and percussionist Stéphane Pauly-Cailhau who will bring the rhythmic fishing that the duo needed. The newly formed trio released their first 6-track EP "N8" at the end of 2015, accompanied by the music video "Cascadia".
Inspired by the contemporary French world scene (Violons Barbares, Duplessy, Lillabox, Gaspar Claus & Pedro Soler,...) the Trio Vidabreve intends to bring its stone to the building by marrying world music in an acoustic cello/guitar fusion which is unique to him.
Acclaimed in 2016 for the closing of the Jazz au fil de l'Oise festival at the Forum de Vauréal in the first part of Guillaume Perret, the Vidabreve formula will gain even more efficiency with their new Maxi 2 titles "Patience", released in early 2018 and recorded by Hugo Bracchi at Midilive Studios, from which is extracted the clip "Alpha 37" directed by Christopher Nguyen.
At the end of 2018, a new clip of the track “Arazian” was released in collaboration with OBLIQ Production, a trip to Asia traveling through India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Nepal.
Caroline having changed region, the trio starts again with the arrival in early 2019 of cellist Aurore Daniel, materializing thanks to successful crowdfunding their first album recorded, mixed and mastered by Mr Laurent Thibault, co-founder with Christian Vander of the group Magma, of which he was the first bassist. After almost two years as International Label Manager at Barclay Records, he founded the Thélème label at Philips, devoted to French progressive rock. From 1974 to 1985, he took over the Château d'Hérouville studio as tenant manager at the request of Michel Magne. He recorded among others T. Rex, Tom Jones, Christopher Bell, Hawkwind, then shortly after Kiki Dee, David Bowie and Iggy Pop, for whom he was also bassist on five tracks on the album The Idiot. He is the engineer director of many artists, including Jacques Higelin, with whom he signed his first gold records: No Man's Land, Champagne and Caviar. It was during his 12 years as director of the Château d'Hérouville that Saturday Night Fever by the Bee Gees, but also Fleetwood Mac, Marvin Gaye, Nina Hagen, John McLaughlin, and many others were recorded...
He is currently at the initiative of the Interactive Network le Château (
